Our Legacy
What kind of health care future do you want to leave for the children in your life and community? It's time to reshape health care in our nation into a system that serves the next generation well.
Let's Reshape Health Care
for the 21st Century
We need to build a healthcare infrastructure. We no longer rely on individual wells to get water nor do most of us rely on our own generators for power. Instead, as a nation we've used our ingenuity to build an infrastructure to deliver water and to get us from one place to another.
It's time to build a similar healthcare infrastructure, one that doesn't leave people stranded when they lose a job, age off their parents' insurance, or experience the death of a spouse.
So where do we begin?
It can be as simple as having a conversation with a friend or neighbor about your vision and priorities for our nation's health care system. Do the priorities exercise on this site.
Start a conversation
It's a conversation you can have at lunch with a friend, during a meal with a family, at a book group, volunteer organization, or in your faith community.
If you are ready to hold a structured, longer conversation about the future of health care in the United States, consider using the resources on this site to host a dialogue. If your time and resources are limited, you can also use one or more exercises from the dialogue as part of any conversation. Check it out!
Together, we can create a U.S. health system as a proud legacy to the next generation!
